In August 2024, Ali joined the regional reporting team for the Colorado mountain newspaper group that includes Summit Daily and its sister papers in Vail, Aspen, Steamboat, Winter Park and Glenwood Springs, Grand County and Craig. She is based out of Eagle County and covers environmental and water issues, wildlife, health and arts and entertainment.

Ali grew up in Golden and began her career in journalism after graduating from the University of Denver in 2016. Her work has been published in Avid Lifestyle, 5280 Magazine, Denver Life Magazine, SDxCentral and ColoradoBiz Magazine.
